Day 40 of WW

It's been a decent week and I think I'm actually, possibly going to finish it on WW, which would make it 6 weeks on WW. I will go weigh in tomorrow. I think it's going to be a gain but I'll report back.

Day 37 of WW


I'm back. I've been doing WW for 37 days. The first 5 weeks went really well but since Sunday it's been tough and I've really felt moved to blog again. So here I am.

I've been struggling recently. I think I spent my first 35 days on WW eating veggies but treating it a bit like a diet. I didn't feel like I was cutting that much out but I think part of me felt it a tiny bit, and a tiny bit is enough to create backlash, which is what I've had. 

I've also started this thing, which I don't think is very healthy: basically I run out of points by Saturday so then I stay OP on Sunday BUT by night I allow self to eat more and carry into the next week. It used to be harmless (more like 6 points) but this week was 15 which has really not set me up for success.

So as of today, 
Yesterday (Monday) which is the first day of my week: 64! 15 of that was a carry over but even so, not good.

Today: 36 and feeling deprived.

And this weekend was like that too. 

I've been feeling such on a roll here and something recently has knocked me off that. I need to get back on it. I've been feeling less in control of this and I really really really want this this time. I can't see it not happening. This encouraged me before and I need to figure out how to get back on top of it.

So I basically have very few points left. I'd love to figure out how Sundays can be clean since that behavior needs to lead into Monday and Tuesday. But really I'll just focus on doing a great job.

Question to consider: how to get more workouts in? when can I swim daily?

Days 5-7 on WW

Day 5 was pretty good. I ended up going through more of my points than I would have liked at a new restaurant. I find that even when I try to eat conservatively, it's hard to not really go over since most food in restaurants has way more butter than stuff I cook at home.

Day 6 unfortunately saw me go over my points by about 20 for the week. I'm disappointed by this but I have to remind myself that 20 points over for the week is still an improvement over before, when I wasn't getting practice tracking and was eating a bunch more.

Day 7 is a lazy Sunday. My goal is to be at 29 points today and get in place for the week so I can be successful this week. I'd love to make my points this week too instead of going over. Toward that goal I'm going to track for the whole week now-- a plan in place will make this easier.

Day 4 of WW

Good points day: 29 pts. I was also pretty productive.

I feel like I'm getting a cold, which I don't handle very well. I was in denial about it for the past few days but it did keep me from swimming. Something changed tonight though and I started to believe it could be real, which freaked me out. Anyway, trying to focus on staying healthy and drinking water and I know I'll be better soon.

I already tracked for tomorrow too. I am going out to dinner so I'm planning to spend about 42 pts during the day and I'll have 20 left for the weekend.

Day 3 of WW: mid day check in

It's about late afternoon and I'm not having the best day. I had a working lunch and ate more than I wanted to. Going forward I'm going to try to minimize sweets when I have a lunch like this because I find it hard to enjoy. And I had a terrible cab driver so I feel just a bit off. Anyway, I have maybe 3 hours of work ahead of me. I'm going to do that, then I'm going to read for an hour of personal dev, work out and then have a nice dinner. I'll probably have a snack at some point.

Day 2 of WW

Great day, ending in 27 points, which I feel great about. No swimming but I felt productive and ate well. I just planned my day for tomorrow.

I've been reading a bunch of blogs and I'm finding them so inspiring. To be successful at this I know how important support is going to be for me.

Day 1 of WW

Hi!

Great day, ending with 35 points, minus 6 pts for swimming. I swam for about 30 minutes and I notice I'm getting faster. I stayed off sugar except for a bite of ice cream tonight. Also, I tracked everything!
